There are a variety of ways by which AABC seeks to show love and support to one another in times of celebration as well as in times of grief.

Prayer Notes

This is an email prayer distribution list that goes out to the AABC church family. If you want to be updated on ongoing and emergency prayer requests of the family, or to let the church family know of how we can pray for you, this email facilitates communication among all of us—thereby allowing us to know how better to pray to the Father on each other’s behalf.

The Prayer Notes goes out regularly once a week on Friday. Emergency prayer requests will be shared as needed.

Any regular attendee of AABC can receive or share these Prayer Notes via email. Please feel free to share your petitions and prayers with the church family so we can support and encourage one another.

Food Preparation and Distribution Ministry

Whenever needs (e.g., newborn baby, hospitalization, short- or long-term care, times of mourning, etc.) are known within the church body that would understandably affect the person or the family’s ability to prepare/cook their own meals, we have a dedicated team of caring chefs who are ready to provide cooked meals for them and deliver them to their homes, hospitals, or assisted-living facilities. Anyone can serve in this food ministry. We have various responsibilities like preparing meals, buying groceries, and delivering food to people.

Newcomers’ Luncheon

This is an informal catered luncheon where we invite guests who have recently been attending our church. There is no "sales pitch" here, just a casual time to get to know each other’s backgrounds and experiences, and to answer any questions about the church our guests might have. There are at least one or two pastoral staff members present for these newcomers’ luncheon, but we also welcome any church member to join us if they would like!

The luncheon takes place the first Sunday of the odd months of the year (example: January, March, May, etc.), in the church library at 12:45 PM.

Church-Wide Luncheon

This is an informal catered luncheon for the whole church. It is meant to be a platform by which we can intentionally care for one another by sharing and hearing the lessons and experiences God is teaching us through our daily lives. The church-wide lunch usually takes place on the last Sunday of the even months of the year (example: February, April, June, etc.). It also usually scheduled on the same Sunday we celebrate communion during the Worship Service. This takes place in the church sanctuary at 12:45 PM. Anyone can serve in this ministry. We are always in need of people to pick up the food, setup/cleanup, and servers.
