2010 Church Retreat
Asian American Baptist Church would like to invite you to join us for our 2010 Church Retreat at Camp Hoblitzelle, held during September 10-12.
It's About You
What comes to mind when you read that statement, “It's About You?” Most likely, you imagined someone saying that statement to you, and therefore, the focus is on you.
But, there's another possibility. Perhaps, you imagined yourself saying that statement to someone else. The perspective, therefore, is completely different because the focus is on the other person.
As Christians, we know we should live an others-centric lifestyle. But, how does it work? What does it look like in light of our crowded schedules, overloaded calendars, and long work-weeks?
Our speaker, Dr. Ralston, will show us how to live an others-centric lifestyle and why living this lifestyle is critical to our spiritual growth towards Christ-like maturity.
Our thematic verse is 1 Thessalonians 5:11 (from The Message):
So speak encouraging words to one another. Build up hope so you will all be together in this, no one left out, no one left behind.
Register between July 25 - August 14 and receive $10 off your admission.
