Our Staff
Here are the pastoral staff members of AABC:
Rev. Benjamin Wong - Senior Pastor
I was born in Hong Kong and came to the United States when I was three years old. As such, I was raised the "American" way, but still valued and cherished my Asian heritage. I was raised in a Christian home and by God's grace I came to have a personal relationship with the Lord at age twelve.
I am married to Lisa and we have two children, Nicholas and Clarissa. We are originally from California, and left the fast-paced world of Silicon Valley to come to Dallas! There are no regrets, only constant reminders of God's blessings as I graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary with a Master of Theology (Th.M.) degree in 2002 and we have this opportunity to serve at AABC.

Pastor Michael Ong - Assistant Pastor - Christian Education and Small Groups
I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have a loving father who is the wisest and kindest man I know. I have a compassionate mother who daily sacrifices for our family. I have a younger sister whom I do anything for. I am proud of my family and consider myself bless to share life with such joyful people.
If I were to summarize my life philosophy, it is simply this: “Love God, Love people.” I have enjoyed the many blessings that God has granted me and I seek to share that with others. AABC has been my family away from family. It has allowed me to "Love God, Love people" and for this, I am truly grateful.
My interests include, but is not limited to, anything sports and music. I love watching, playing, and talking sports with friends, family, random strangers I meet, etc. Since I am from the Bay Area, I root for all the local teams (Giants, Niners, Warriors, and Sharks). I am also passionate about music. If there is a concert in town, a new album coming out, or band looking for a guitarist or drummer, I am there.
Jonathan Wong - Pastoral Intern – Youth Ministry
I was born in Washington state but was adopted at 3 days old and taken to Portland, Oregon (Go Blazers!) where I grew up. My parents are both loving, committed Christians and I trusted Christ when I was five over a conversation with my mother. However, growing up as a 5th generation "ABC", I didn't appreciate my native culture and secretly resented being Chinese.
This changed after a mission trip to Macau, China which opened me up to my native culture and the joy of mission work. I attended Vanderbilt University where I majored in Human and Organizational Development and served with Intervarsity Asian American Christian Fellowship for 3 years. Upon graduating in 2006, I spent a year in Macau teaching English and doing youth ministry. Having decided that God has called me to ministry and missions, I came to Dallas Theological Seminary where I am beginning the 3rd of the 4 year Master of Theology (Th.M.) degree in Cross-Cultural Missions. I have served as AABC's youth intern for the past year and plan to serve through my graduation in May 2011. I absolutely love it. I also enjoy basketball, weight lifting, stimulating conversations, and vanilla ice cream.
