Pastor Jacob
Lead Pastor
Jacob grew up in Canada as the son of first-generation Korean immigrants. He and his wife Flora have three young boys—Jedidiah, Ezra, and Lemuel. Jacob earned degrees from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (PhD, Applied Theology), Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary (MDiv), and the University of Alberta (BS, Physics). Jacob worked in IT as a programming supervisor before pursuing God’s call into full-time ministry in 2000. He answered the call to become AABC’s lead pastor in 2025. His passions include world missions, preaching, and mentoring. He enjoys reading, writing, chatting, being outdoors, tinkering with guitars and gadgets, building and fixing things, watching and playing sports, and trying to keep up with his three energetic sons.
Pastor Michael
After graduating from UC San Diego (BA, Communications) and working various jobs in marketing, radio, and television, Michael realized his passion is helping other people find and develop their passions. After finishing his studies at Dallas Theological Seminary (ThM), Michael has served as the Pastor of Children’s and Adult Ministry since 2010. Michael and his wife Stephanie have two sons and two daughters: Sadie, Clark, Ryan, and Madelyn. With the little free time he has, Michael cheers for his Bay Area sports teams, wishes he could still play basketball and baseball like in his 20’s, and listens to his childhood music – grunge, punk, and 90's West Coast/East Coast rap.
Pastor Jason
Jason joined the AABC staff in 2012 and loves being the youth and college pastor. Jason earned degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv) and the University of Texas at Austin (BS, Communications). His passion and dream is for everyone to know God's love in Jesus and to give out that love to others. Jason and his wife Julia have a daughter and two sons. In his free time, Jason likes to watch and play sports, especially basketball and volleyball.
