"Do not worry."

From our 12th grader, Brian Tien:

Happy Monday everyone!!
Hope you are having a great start to your week.
I know weeks can be long and hard but we are almost to summer! We can do it!
While i've been busy with theatre, band, and school work I was reminded to always find peace in God through Matthew 6:34, which says:
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
School tends to constantly bog us down with homework, club meetings, tests, and rehearsals but through all the chaotic business this verse reminds us to trust in God and live one day at a time. My week is already starting off crazy. Today I had to take a make-up test during lunch, tomorrow is the end of the nine weeks, and I have more quizzes and tests coming up later this week. Oh and who can forget the difficult decision of trying to choose a college for the next four years of my life...ahhhh. Reading this verse gives me peace in knowing that God has my whole future planned out and He will be watching over me at all times.
Take some time to read Matthew 6:25-34. Give thanks to God for always being there for us and lift your anxieties up to Him.
