Good morning TUFF!

Because of covid-19 and because we care about your health & safety, AABC and TUFF has announced the closure of all AABC and TUFF ministries and activities on church campus from 3/13 to 3/22.  A lot of things are changing and with a lot of changes, there can be new worries, anxieties, fears, and even panic.  One thing that has helped me and anchored my soul through this new season is to remember:  Though a lot of things are changing, God never changes.  Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).

7 Things that are changing (to name a few)

1. Extended Spring break.
2. Social distancing.
3. Meeting as a big youth large group.
4. Worshipping in person at church.
5. No more basketball or volleyball at AABC.
6. Stock market going crazy.
7. Work & employment uncertainty.

7 Things that are the same (to name a few)

1. God's sovereignty.
2. God's love for you.
3. The cross of Christ is greater than sin, death, and hell.
4. Our great mission to make disciple of all nations.
5. Our greatest commandment to love the Lord with all of our heart, soul, and strength.
6. Our second greatest commandment to love your neighbor as yourself.  
7. TUFF's 2020 vision statement to taste and to see that the Lord is good (Psalm 34:8a).

May Jesus Christ who is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow be your anchor for your whole life ... and especially in this changing season.  If you need anything or have any specific prayer requests, please feel free to reach out to your parents, siblings, friends, youth counselors, youth sunday school teachers, or me.
