Welcome to Asian American Baptist Church! Community is very important to us, and we hope you can feel it the moment you walk through our doors. Your safety is also a priority, so we've introduced some new protocols.
Can I just show up?
Yes, you can just show up. We will have a check-in station to register your attendance. Registration is important to notify you in case of COVID-19 exposure and to protect the health of you and our community. Ushers will help you with the check-in process.
What time should I arrive?
Our service starts at 9:30 a.m. and lasts about an hour and 15 minutes.
What should I wear?
We are a casual environment, so feel free to wear whatever is comfortable.
What about my kids?
Children are welcome to join the worship service.
Children's programs are available for Toddlers – 6th grade.
For our Toddlers – K classes, when you arrive, check them in at our Sports and Fellowship Center. Then drop them off at our Children’s Ministry Center. After service, you can pick up your children in their classrooms in the Children’s Ministry Center. Ushers will be available to guide you through this process.
For our 1st – 6th grade classes, when you arrive, check them in at our Sports and Fellowship Center. Then bring them into service, where they will worship with you. They will be dismissed for their classes after our first worship set. After service, you can pick up your children in the Sports and Fellowship Center classrooms. Ushers will be available to guide you through this process.
If you would like more info, please contact Pastor Michael.
If you have kids in 7th – 12th grades, they attend service in its entirety. Please contact Pastor Jason for more about TUFF, our youth fellowship, or Bridge, our college ministry.
Are masks required?
Masking is highly recommended for those in Sunday worship service, and masking is required for Children’s Ministry volunteers and children. Adult and children's masks are available upon request.
What else are you doing to prevent the spread of COVID-19?
We are providing hand sanitizer stations throughout the church, and we have a touchless environment. Check-in for all attendees will be contact-free, entrance doors will be propped open, there are no paper bulletins, and no offering tray will be passed.
For our full Re-Entry plan and guidelines, visit our COVID-19 response page here.
What if I want to attend but am still hesitant about in-person services?
We also offer livestreaming services on Sundays in real time—just click on the banner on our home page. Or you can always visit our YouTube page for video recordings or our website for audio recordings.
I received a COVID exposure notification from my child’s school. What guidelines can you give me to help me decide if I (or my child) should stay home or come on Sunday?
Please go to the CDC COVID-19: When to Quarantine page for medical guidance regarding when to quarantine or isolate.
We hope to see you on Sunday!
