Becoming a member was important to me. Although I grew up here and have practically attended AABC my entire life, I made the choice to become a member primarily because I wanted to demonstrate, to myself and others, a symbol of surrender to the Lord and His mission and a commitment to the community.

In the 23 years of getting to know the people here, many of whom played huge roles in my spiritual walk, I've gotten to experience a community—or rather a family—who has encouraged me to pursue Christ.

Now I hope to continue that and be that, alongside this AABC family, for that next person.
