I came to Dallas with virtually no connections and was looking to join a church family who hungered for God's Word with a humble servant attitude, a community of Christians who looks to serve selflessly and not just be served. This is what attracted me to AABC. Even though there are always things to improve on and a deeper passion for the things of Christ to be had, the reassurance comes from the fact that this is a part of the Body that transparently recognizes itself simply as a group of sinners saved by grace and that we are all learning and walking together. No church is perfect, but we can always look to our perfect God to lead and teach us, and to prepare us as living sacrifices, for His sole glory.
