Advent: Our God Comes

Christians have always used time to teach, whether a weekly celebration of Jesus’ death and resurrection or the annual journey from His birth to His glorious return. The month of Advent ends our year by rehearsing Christ’s return as the almighty judge of history but also prepares us to begin it again with the mystery that this same person has become one of us.
